Research and Analytics Division of Enrollment Management University of Tennessee, Knoxville The Office of Research and Analytics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Data Analyst position. The Division The Enrollment Management (EM) division comprises more than 170 full-time staff who serve our students through the following departments and functions: Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment, Transfer Center, One Stop Student Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships, University Registrar, EM Communications, and Research & Analytics. The Office of Enrollment Management is committed to our Vision, Mission and Values. The Position: This an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility. Supports the Enrollment Management division and broader University by providing timely, accurate, and relevant insights to decision makers. Performs complex, highly visible and potentially sensitive research and analysis. Compiles, cleans, analyzes, interprets, and maintains data for use in campus-wide decision-making. Creates and maintains dashboards that contain a variety of data visualizations and key performance indicators (KPls) designed to meet the needs of the end user and inform decisions at the highest levels of the university. Responsible for linking data from multiple internal sources as well as importing and linking data from external sources. Integrates concepts and data from various sources such as institutional database, EAB, the College Board, ACT, National Student Clearinghouse, IPEDS (Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System), and other national data banks to create analyses that serve the university's enrollment management needs. Performs the evaluation and testing of data and reports received from other offices, establishes automatic data verification, resolves data discrepancies, creates queries, and develops ad hoc reports.
