Assistant Director Of Advancement for Diversity and Engagement
The University of Tennessee Foundation (UTFI), Office of Advancement and the Division of Diversity and Engagement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus, is seeking an Assistant Director of Advancement for Diversity & Engagement to fundraise and perform alumni engagement activities. Under the direction of the Vice Chancellors from both divisions, the role will work with both UT Foundation and division staff, as well as internal and external stakeholders (university administrators, donors, alumni, etc.) to create and implement fundraising strategies for the division including: annual giving, events-based fundraising, major gifts fundraising (gifts of $25,000+), grant writing, planned giving strategy, and sponsorships with an emphasis and focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Because this position is new to the Foundation and the Division, it will be responsible for budget management, and the creation and leadership of the Division's Advisory Board.
