Galvin Fine Arts Center Technical Director

St. Ambrose University invites applications for the full-time position of Technical Director. Duties include but are not limited to advising, planning, managing and supervising all lighting, audio, video and stage production needs required for facility events in the Galvin Fine Arts Center and Galvin Fine Arts Center related events on campus. Venues include 1,000-seat Allaert Auditorium and 100-seat Madsen Recital Hall. Equipment inventory, maintenance and planning/requisitioning of additional equipment shall also be the responsibility of this position. Successful candidate will also train and supervise student crews and work with faculty, campus event sponsors and visiting performers. Minimum qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in technical theatre or related field is preferred.
