Employee Wellness Coordinator

The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the Employee Wellness Coordinator position for the Center for Health Education & Wellness (CHEW). This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track staff position.
The Position: Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Center, this position works to mobilize, create, and sustain campus-wide health promotion practices in order to create an environment that promotes employee success and personal development. The coordinator will plan, implement, and evaluate theory-based and evidence-informed health promotion strategies, policies, programs, and services; develop strategic plans, goals, and measurable objectives for health promotion programs and services; and collaborate with key stakeholders on and off campus to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to health for employees. The coordinator will incorporate multicultural diversity and social justice concepts and principles into health promotion services. Additional responsibilities include budget management, student intern supervision, marketing, outreach, and assessment.
