DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATION AND PUBLICATIONS The Doane Stuart School seeks an outgoing, detail-oriented Director of Communications and Publications who reports to the Director of Advancement and Director of Enrollment Management. This person will have a positive attitude and a willingness to attend and cover various school-related events. Qualified candidates need to bring strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Successful candidates will also: - Have fluency in technology including Indesign, MailChimp, and Photoshop
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have experience in marketing, graphic design, ad creation, photography, and video production
- Have the ability to work independently while possessing strong collaboration skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Managing social media accounts
- Managing and updating website content
- Assisting in the development of creative digital and print marketing and communications pieces, graphic design, visual content creation, and writing copy for marketing collateral, brand recognition, advancement, and admissions
- Data tracking (social media and website analytics)
- Coordinating vendor relationships, orders, tracking
- Attending key events and activities to create social media and other visual content
- Collaborating with the Director of Advancement and Director of Enrollment Management to coordinate various internal and community events
- Leading the Marketing Committee’s weekly meetings
- Executing marketing and communications’ duties as assigned and contributes to the life of the school
