The Doane Stuart School seeks an outgoing, detail-oriented Director of Communications and Publications who reports to the Director of Advancement and Director of Enrollment Management. This person will have a positive attitude and a willingness to attend and cover various school-related events. Qualified candidates need to bring strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Successful candidates will also:
Have fluency in technology including Indesign, MailChimp, and Photoshop
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Have experience in marketing, graphic design, ad creation, photography, and video production
Have the ability to work independently while possessing strong collaboration skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing social media accounts
Managing and updating website content
Assisting in the development of creative digital and print marketing and communications pieces, graphic design, visual content creation, and writing copy for marketing collateral, brand recognition, advancement, and admissions
Data tracking (social media and website analytics)
Attending key events and activities to create social media and other visual content
Collaborating with the Director of Advancement and Director of Enrollment Management to coordinate various internal and community events
Leading the Marketing Committee’s weekly meetings
Executing marketing and communications’ duties as assigned and contributes to the life of the school
