Stanford Eisenberg Knoxville Jewish Day School (KJDS) is a private K-5 Jewish day school that offers the highest level of academics, STEAM, music, theater, and an integrated Jewish studies curriculum in a warm, inclusive, nurturing and welcoming community. KJDS is situated on a beautiful, five-acre campus in West Knoxville, with sports courts and advanced play equipment. The current enrollment at KJDS is 55 students. The Director of Development will play a significant role in broadening the KJDS donor base with new corporate, foundation, and individual donors at the local, regional, and national levels; will be responsible for developing and implementing the Development Fundraising Plan; and will be engaged in all aspects of the donor cycle (identify, engage, evaluate, solicit, recognize, and steward). RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to: - Design and manage the strategic fundraising plan, including fundraising tactics and annual donor revenue goals to achieve significant growth
- Manage the donor cycle
- Manage the strategic and logistical aspects of fundraising events
- Manage data entry to donor database, including timely recording and donation acknowledgement
- Generate reports on a regular basis
- Identify appropriate grant opportunities and manage the grant-writing and application processes
