Drake University's College of Arts and Sciences is excited to invite applications for up to five Administrative Assistant positions to manage and coordinate daily operations of various departments in the college (Music, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, English, History, Political Sciences, World Languages, Society and Culture, Women's and Gender Studies).
While every day will be different, core duties include administrative support to faculty, class schedule building and classroom reservation, monitoring of office and/or lab supplies and equipment, reconciling of department budgets, managing calendars, events and department facilities, maintaining databases, generating reports, maintaining websites, and other duties as assigned. Day-to-day clerical and public-facing duties will vary by departments.

We seek applicants who are professional, detail oriented, organized, and can be trusted with access to confidential information (such as student data and personnel matters). Minimum requirements include an associate degree or equivalent previous work experience. Previous work experience in higher education is preferred.
