The Executive Assistant to the Head of School manages the day-to-day operations of the Head’s office, serves as the first point of contact for all constituencies, manages the Head’s calendar and correspondence, and oversees the successful production of events, including, but not limited to, Board of Trustee meetings/retreats, welcoming and year-end celebrations and receptions, and the annual convocation and commencement exercises.
Maintains a welcoming presence in the Head of School’s office, serving as a greeter, coordinator, and problem-solver in interacting with all constituents
Greets and vets visitors
Schedules logistics for special guests, candidates, and other visitors
Provides information/announcements to faculty, staff, students, and families on an as-needed basis
Manages the Head of School’s daily/monthly/yearly calendar
Respond to calls and inquiries on behalf of the Head of School
Provides administrative support to other administrators as assigned by the Head of School
Schedules group spaces on campus, and coordinates with the Performing Arts Department in scheduling the Matthews Theatre and PACC lobby
Takes and publishes minutes of all Administrative Team and Board of Trustee meetings
Arranges event support on-site as needed: food service, technology, operations, “set design,” etc.
Oversees the production of specified events
Excellent interpersonal skills
