Part-time clerical support will provide up to 28 hours a week working in the Humanities Department. General clerical duties to support the delivery of academics and departmental administrative functions.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience:
Experience in an office setting performing multiple clerical duties such as organization, ordering supplies, and scheduling.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Assist students with admission, registration, and graduation university processes. Assist students, faculty and staff with daily department needs. Maintain inventory and order supplies. Organize functions/processes in/for the Humanities Department. Assist with the hiring, training and scheduling of student employees. Coordinate social media and electronic signage. Coordinate work and office coverage with the department secretary Oversee student employees to ensure work and processes are completed. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members.
Skills and Abilities:
Directly responsible to Chair of the Department of Humanities
Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
