Technical Supervisor, Video University of California Los Angeles

Position Description: Reporting to the Museum & Theater Technical Director, the Technical Supervisor, Video is responsible for the technical preparation, production, and documentation of all AV Services and Live Events including lectures, performances, and screenings. Collaborating and communicating with internal and external content creators across all departments, the Technical Supervisor, Video produces all AV services, including vendor management and the scheduling of Part Time AV staff support as needed.
Specializing in the field of Video Engineering, the Technical Supervisor, Video manages video solutions and upgrades to the Museum's technology infrastructure, and performs regular technical maintenance to ensure safe working procedures by addressing and escalating any safety issues as they arise. The Technical Supervisor, Video will help to ensure that all AV services are delivered in a manner consistent with Museum policies, strategic goals and professional standards.
