The Music School of Delaware seeks full and part-time instructors of violin, viola and cello for entry level, lead teacher, and coordinator positions in our well-established, growing, and highly reputable program serving residents from Southeastern PA, NJ, MD, and all of Delaware. The Music School offers private lessons and group classes for violin, viola, and cello, and also hosts many other opportunities such as performances, masterclasses, workshops, and summer camps. The Music School of Delaware’s Suzuki Academy has been the region’s standard-setting resource for Suzuki music education since 2007.

Teaching includes violin, viola and cello lessons, group classes, possible theory classes, and small ensemble or chamber music coaching. Our academic year is 36 weeks, including private lessons and group classes. Full-time and part-time salaried instructors are required to teach 6 weeks during the summer session. Candidates must be positive collaborators, team builders, and individuals dedicated to building community within the department, school, and general community.
