We are seeking candidates who can contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University. The University and Region UTK is the state's flagship, land-grant university. We are a Research 1 university with 11 colleges and more than 30,000 students. The Division The Enrollment Management (EM) division comprises more than 170 full-time staff who serve our students through the following departments and functions: Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment, Transfer Center, One Stop Student Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships, University Registrar, EM Communications, and Research & Analytics. The Office of Enrollment Management is committed to our Vision, Mission and Values. The Position: Develop and coordinate strategic recruitment initiatives designed to attract competitive in-state and out-of-state students, first time freshman and transfer students from diverse backgrounds. Work closely with recruitment staff to ensure recruitment goals are met and contribute positively to overall enrollment goals for the University. As a member of the Undergraduate Admissions Diversity Recruitment team, the Assistant Director participates in state, regional and national recruitment efforts. This position will strategically focus on diversity efforts in the broadest sense (racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, geographic, first-gen, socioeconomic, rural, etc.). Represent the university at on and off-campus recruitment events, and review applicants for admission to the university. This position will also work closely with the Director of Diversity Recruitment in managing the Minority Enhancement for The University of Tennessee student Recruitment Team (ME4UT), strategic planning, assessment, event planning and management and manage at least two staff members on Diversity Recruitment team. The position will also work on the Diversity Recruitment and Outreach Team to lead the UT Division of Enrollment Management in executing inclusive admission and outreach efforts.
