Under the dirction of the Associate Registrar, the Enrollment Management Specialists help students navigate their enrollment, academic, and graduation records. These Specialist process student record updates, serve as primary points of contact for student questions, and proactively reach out to and engage with students who may be experiencing challenges to their records and academic progress. Specialists proactively utilize technology to record their interactions with students, identify students who need proactive outreach, and coordinate support for students across various offices on campus. As a member of the Registrar’s Office, they will be expected to understand the foundation of registrar work and duties will be reflective of that commitment to cross-knowledge of all functional areas.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience working in multiple systems and the ability to evaluate and effectively communicate ideas, trends, and data from systems; experience coordinating initiatives; and experience working with diverse populations.
Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of student records. This includes updating student majors/minors, enrollment eligibility, transfer credit accuracy, degree progress reports, and military enrollment uploads to support the federal tuition assistance program (ArmyIgnitED).
Updating requests for withdrawals, other changes in enrollment levels, and processing all requests in a timely fashion following federal (FERPA) and institutional policy guidelines, as well as maintaining compliance with enrollment reporting and updating to external agencies.
Supporting and assisting in the management of processing, maintenance, tracking, and communications related to Petitions for Exception to University Policy.
Proactively examining student data to identify potential opportunities to engage students in completing academic, enrollment, retention, or other degree-progress requirements, leveraging student information systems, student success platforms, and CRMs to combine student data and use that data to proactively engage students in coordinated care.
Providing leadership and supervision while serving as point of escalation for student inquiries that cannot be managed by student support teams.
Referring, following up and supporting students by monitoring multiple inquiry channels including phones, walk-up, email, text, student success platforms, CRMs, and SIS.
Recording interactions with students and assigning follow-ups by issuing alerts within the appropriate systems.

Two years professional work experience
Experience working in higher education
Higher education leadership experience
Experience with records and enrollment
Experience within higher education student information systems
Knowledge of compliance, reporting, FERPA, and/or local and federal regulations
The salary range for this position is $35,395 to $47,193. Ask about opportunities to work from home and alternate work schedules.
