THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA Tippie College of Business Instructional-Track Faculty Position(s) in Accounting The Department of Accounting invites applicants for one or more part-time or full-time academic-year non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Position(s) in Accounting at the level of Lecturer, Associate Professor of Practice or Instruction, or Full Professor of Practice or Instruction, starting August 17, 2022. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and include a 1-5 year contract with benefits. For more information about the Instructional Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.11. The appointment requires the candidate to teach a minimum of 4 courses in our undergraduate accounting or Master of Accountancy curriculums including Introduction to Financial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Accounting Analytics, Accounting Information Systems and Cost Accounting. Faculty also serve the department and college as part of their appointment, including participation in college and department activities, committees, boards, and student organizations.
