The Theater Program of Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2022-2023 academic year, starting August 1, 2022. We seek an active artist with a commitment to thoughtfully engaged teaching and collaboration. A graduate degree is required. The successful candidate will have experience teaching theater and directing productions, as well as relevant professional experience in these or other areas of the field. The successful candidate will teach directing or playwriting, theater history, other areas of expertise and will direct a production as part of the Program’s curricular offerings. The teaching load is six courses total, with the production counting as one course. The position will require work during some evenings and weekends during the production, which will be in the Fall semester.
