Wells College Theatre Program invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Acting and Directing to begin in the Fall of 2022. We seek an enthusiastic collaborator who can bring innovative, inclusive approaches to teaching and has a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity. The ideal candidate will bring a professional record in directing, performing, and developing new works, and can encourage connectivity between current Wells College Theatre students, alums, and professional theatrical artists. A successful candidate will have the ability to teach courses in acting, directing, management, and other technique-based courses. They will also direct and produce two theatrical productions a year, as well as assist in publicity and front of house duties for all additional program productions.
