Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education, full-time, non-tenure track one-year appointment, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Salary competitive.
The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the Music Education program, serving as liaison between the Department of Music and the School of Education. Teaching duties assigned, commensurate with the candidate's expertise, to include an introduction to music education class, elementary and/or secondary choral or instrumental music education methods courses, a measurement and evaluation course, and supervising student teachers. Demonstrable knowledge of music education technologies needed. Minimum of 3 years public school teaching experience required. Doctorate required by the time of appointment.
