English Teacher - IMMEDIATE OPENING
The Cedar School is a private high school for bright students with language-based learning differences (such as dyslexia). We are looking for a long term sub for the balance of the school year to teach three sections of English (one prep) This has the potential of being a fulltime position for the 2022-2023 school year. The English classes are currently reading Romeo and Julie and will be reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Candidates should have experience teaching students with language-based learning differences, and should enjoy teaching in a multisensory way, incorporating visuals, music, hands-on activities and experiential learning. At each grade level, English and history courses are connected, with students reading novels and short stories that fit with what they are studying
