Within Fender Musical Instrument Corporation’s (“FMIC”) global Product team, our mission is to serve players at every stage with products and brand experiences that fuel the pursuit of musical expression.
The Product Development Coordinator will report to the Associate Category Manager. This role assists with keeping product development documentation and content organized and maintaining various records, reports, and data imports to database. The Product Development Administrator will play a key role in the Product Development department’s daily success.
About the Job:
Administrative tasks such as maintaining artwork and product management records in Dropbox
Adding and maintaining part numbers and other key product information in company database
Importing and updating of pricing records in company database
Manage office inventory and process inventory transfers
Running reports and inquiries from company database
Proofreading of supporting documentation for product
General technical support back up
Support the Associate Category Manager with product knowledge and business empathy.
Perform all tasks assigned in the execution of product strategy and roadmap.
Serve as system administrator for product environments.
Assist in training of users and grow the product skill set across the organization.
Implement changes as assigned and support release management processes.
Work independently with members of the user community to define and document requirements.
Collaborate with project management functions in the execution of projects.
Provide status reports as requested
Have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in similar role
Can prioritize and juggle tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
Are exceptionally organized and detail oriented
Can work effectively in a team setting as well as independently
Have excellent communication skills
Are proficient with Microsoft Office programs, (specifically Power Point, Word and Excel), Cloud Services (Google, Dropbox, iCloud, etc.) with ability to learn new computer systems and programs
