The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks applications from qualified scholars for a tenure-track position in Health Administration at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin in August of 2022. Applications will be considered from all areas of Health Administration for individuals who meet our AACSB qualifications.
The selected candidate will report to the Chair of the James K. Elrod Department of Health Administration. The selected candidate will be expected to primarily teach at the graduate level in the online Master of Health Administration program but should be able to teach in a business discipline at the graduate level (online) and at the undergraduate level (face-to-face and online). The candidate will be expected to produce scholarship at a level consistent with our AACSB Scholarly Academic standards. The candidate will be expected to actively engage in activities serving the department, college, university, community, and discipline.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have a terminal degree in Health Administration, or a closely related area, from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD applicants with an expected completion date prior to August 2022 will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate teaching excellence and a record of published research commensurate with years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have at least one year of experience teaching in health administration.
