The Enrollment Management (EM) division comprises more than 170 full-time staff who serve our students through the following departments and functions: Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment, Transfer Center, One Stop Student Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships, University Registrar, EM Communications, and Research & Analytics. This position is responsible for the management of their assigned territory which includes the development and implementation of strategic recruitment planning. This position will collaborate with Community College and University of Tennessee partners to establish consistent interaction by way of visits, fairs, and other developed events designed to attract competitive in-state and out-of-state transfer students. This position establishes recruitment goals based on Enrollment Management and Undergraduate Admissions overall enrollment goals with a focus on increasing market share. Partners with Enrollment Management Communications, International Recruitment and Diversity Recruitment to ensure a high level of competency and inclusiveness working with a diverse set of prospective students and parents. Represents UTK and Undergraduate Admissions at recruitment events. Coordinates and manages schedule of travel, visits, emails, phone calls and general office duties. Reviews prospective student applications for admission to include transfer gpa calculations, completion of transferable and non-transferable credit, and any written material related to the admissions application. Makes admissions decision on transfer applications. On an as needed basis, evaluates undergraduate college transcripts of admitted and confirmed students applying evaluated coursework on academic history reports. This position will be located in and have a primary territory in Tennessee.
