The College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Digital Media Production to begin in August 2022. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in studio media, field production, post-production, and audio production including podcasting. This position will also coordinate the practicum and internship experiences within the School of Communication and the Arts. Supported programs include undergraduate majors in Communication Arts and Digital Media and the minor in Innovation and Creativity. The successful candidate will advise students and prepare them intellectually, professionally, and personally, and will be active in the life of the university with opportunities for advancement in rank. Requirements include an earned doctorate (preferred) or master’s degree in Digital Media or a related field (completed by the time of appointment) and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite software with demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.
