Job Duties/Responsibilities: This position entails working remotely via videoconferencing and in-person when appropriate on multiple research-related projects and faculty investigators.
Coordinating and monitoring multiple research related activities to ensure satisfactory completion within study timelines and budgets; includes leading and providing guidance to small project-related work teams (<5 individuals) in areas of expertise
Designing, developing, and maintaining manvuals of operations for research projects
Designing and developing culturally appropriate health promotion educational program materials (e.g., workbooks, videos, websites, etc.) for a diverse range of participants
In accordance with study specific protocols: â– Conducting training in the delivery and facilitation of health promotion educational programs in community and clinical settings according to study protocols â– Participating in study related recruitment activities, including performing presentations and visiting with community organizations, health providers and systems â– Performing research screening activities including informed consents, telephone and in-person screenings â– Leading and facilitating group-interventions in community and clinical settings, promoting health lifestyle behaviors â– Performing data collection including qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups) and quantitative (e.g., surveys) with research participants
Participating in meetings with study co-investigators and staff
Assisting with the analysis and interpretation of data
Preparing reports, presentations, and publications of research for dissemination
Participating in other training opportunities (e.g., seminars, workshops, etc.) to promote research skill development
Other research related duties as assigned (10%)
Annually renewable up to three years depending on training needs, performance, and available funds. This position has 0% supervisory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications: -Master's Degree and 2 years of related experience or Bachelor Degree (BA or BS) 4 years of experience leading and facilitating health promotion educational programs in community settings, with an emphasis on physical activity and complementary health approaches -Research project management experience working with human subjects -Training in the protection of human subjects -Training in health equity and inclusion -Experience leading and facilitating health promotional programs remotely via video-conferencing
Preferred Qualifications: -Training or experience in public speaking and/or theatre -Previous employment with a community organization
