Dordt University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member in the Music Department for a one year leave replacement to serve as a caretaker for a thriving choral program of 175-200 students during the 2022-2023 school year. The primary responsibility will be conducting four of Dordt's five choirs (one of which will take a brief Midwest tour). Other responsibilities will include recruiting new singers for the 2023-24 school year and awarding vocal music scholarships to deserving high school seniors who apply, observing one or two music education students during their student-teaching experience, supervising two choral department student employees, and various other tasks within the music department. A master's degree is required, as is commitment to teaching from the perspective of the Reformed faith.
