The Theatre Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2022. We seek candidates to teach global performance history and theory, contemporary acting styles (non-realism), theatre education, and related courses in performance theory, history, and practice. Candidates with ABD candidates or an MFA will be considered, although candidates with a DFA or Ph.D. are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate active creative and scholarly research interests and activities. The teaching load for this position is four courses for the first year, five courses per year thereafter.
