The College of Business and Public Management employs over 150 faculty, offering nine undergraduate degrees, 16 undergraduate minors and seven graduate programs organized into seven departments. In addition to the West Chester Campus, the college offers courses and supports programs at two additional locations: West Chester University’s Center City campus in Philadelphia and Delaware County Community College. The School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the global accrediting body for schools of business, and the Master of Public Administration is accredited by NASPAA. The college is also committed to incorporating social responsibility into its curriculum and is a signatory school of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
Undergraduate and MBA teaching, including business statistics
Scholarly research appropriate for AACSB accredited institutions
Departmental and university-wide service.
Teaching assignments will include opportunities for teaching at off-campus sites and/or through distance learning.
Candidates must either hold a Ph.D. in economics or be ABD with economics Ph.D. completion expected by August 2022.
Candidates who earned a Ph.D. more than three years ago must have a record of scholarship consistent with West Chester University’s scholarly academic standards, including recent refereed journal articles.
A primary concentration in macroeconomics / monetary economics, as evidenced by published research and/or dissertation topic
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level
A record of scholarship or demonstrated research capability
Teaching experience and an interest in teaching business statistics or econometrics
