1. Oversee and coordinate with the Registrar the short and long term leave process. 2. Administer the Belding Fund, including application and disbursement. 3. Oversee the appointment process for postgraduate fellows and teaching assistants. 4. In consultation with the Deputy Dean and the coordinators of the academic units: a. Ensure text of Bulletin regarding academic programs is consistent and accurate. b. Update Bulletin text to reflect changes in curriculum. 5. Manage the production of the Student Handbook. a. Coordinate with areas to manage changes in policy or information. 6. Oversee finances of reporting units. a. Using financial analyses of budgets, make recommendations to increase efficiency. b. Ensure that the reporting areas operate within budget parameters. 7. Manage Artist Diploma performances. a. Establish and maintain relationships with international partner institutions that present AD performances. b. Book performances with partner institutions, and negotiate terms and finances. c. Manage travel of students to performances. 8. Assist the Deputy Dean in confidential correspondence and meetings related to students, personnel, and related academic issues. 9. Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Dean.
