The programmer will report to the director of programming and will be responsible for campus activations and special programs.
This position is a detail-oriented, highly organized team player with excellent interpersonal skills that works seamlessly and efficiently with AT&T Performing Arts Center staff and with end users of the facilities. Essential skills include the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Must be self-starter and work autonomously using independent judgement. A positive attitude towards position and the Center’s Core Values is imperative.
Programming campus activations including Patio Sessions, Live & Local outreach, Education Events and Conferences, Campus Education and Health initiatives, and other special events.
Internal programming representative for Elevator Project. This includes calendar scheduling, budgeting, contracting, mentoring and producing, and settling the works once completed.
Responsible for creating offers, calendar confirmations & avails, gathering riders, ticket reporting, event coverage, and other needs as assigned
Settle performances and expense reconciliations with staff and promoters.
Review and keep a record of all contracts, financial materials, and invoices
Ensure all artists are paid on time according to contract and gather documents needed for payment (contract, w9, settlement, invoices, etc.)
Master industry specific software: ArtsVision/Venue Ops Calendar System and Tessitura Ticketing System. Training as needed.
Attend relevant industry conferences. Some travel expected.
Required Education & Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor Degree in the Arts or a related discipline (equivalent experience is also considered)
3 years previous entertainment/booking/marketing/promotions experience necessary
Ability to understand and interpret complex contract agreements preferable
Ability to be creative and multi-task in a very dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet goals and objectives
Strong verbal and written skills / phone etiquette and communication skills
Knowledge/experience with Search Engine Marketing and Email/Social marketing
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
ArtsVision experience a plus
Able to occasionally work flexible hours including nights and weekends as shows require
Able to work effectively and positively with others
