![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF06639 Professor of Theater - Acting (Assistant Rank) UCLA seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Theater, effective July 1, 2022. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled collaborator, who embraces a philosophy of integrated curriculum. Responsibilities of the position will include the following: In addition to the above, the ability to teach in any of the following areas is desirable: African American, Latina/o, Indigenous theater, and/or gender and sexuality in performance. We seek a colleague prepared for interdisciplinary collaboration among the various areas within the Department of Theater (Acting, Directing, Design, Playwriting, and Theater and Performance Studies); in partnership with the Department of Film, Television and Digital Media; and across the University and professional schools. We strongly encourage and solicit applications from candidates with backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in theater and academia.
