Performing Arts thrives at Crane School! Crane Country Day School, a wonderful elementary school, is looking for a part-time Technical Theater Supervisor that would begin in September of the 2021-2022 school year. This 60%-time position supports our music and drama teachers by coordinating our sound systems, lights, sets and stage management. Our overall goal is to help our students have positive early experiences performing on stage. We want all our students to gain confidence in public speaking, experience being part of an ensemble, and for a subset of our older students who gravitate towards our tech crew, be provided the opportunity to learn to operate a sophisticated sound board, explore the use of stage lighting, dabble in choreography and much more. The background expectations are a bachelor’s degree and ideally three years of experience working in a theater.
