Responsible for new business development and creating and maintaining approval pipelines for all relevant products. Management of CRM and new business communication development, deployment and follow up. Tracking conversions of new business and forecasting revenue.
Assist in the review of new and returning exhibitor applications and verify appropriate fit, requiring additional documentation as needed. Recommend action to accept or decline applicant's entry based on show eligibility.
Manage the New Industry Supporter Educational Program by providing a sustainable “value-added” service, live and on-demand web-access to strategic “how to” exhibiting information, providing marketing and administrative support for new industry supporters.
Create and maintain Industry Supporter Success and ROI Center.
Serve as approved supporters account manager for assigned accounts. This will include but is not limited to:
Assist with exhibit space, virtual package, and sponsorships selection
Distributing invoices, deadline reminders, informational emails, operational forms, payment reminders, missing information reminders and any post show metrics/reports to industry supporters
Collect and review all submitted forms and information that the supporter has provided. Work with supporter to obtain any missing information.
Make sure all deadlines are met for assigned accounts.
Approve all sponsorship artwork, exhibit space drawings, giveaways, in-booth presentations, and any other aspects that need approval for assigned accounts.
Act as a full-service primary point of contact for all industry supporter needs.
Work with appropriate vendors to ensure that all exhibit space, sponsorship, and virtual platform fulfillment is complete by the deadlines for assigned accounts.
Manage assigned account programming (such as satellite symposia, product theater, other presentations, or programming). To include time slot selection, space allocation/assignment, marketing of program (including content, review, and approval) on all media (website, mobile app, virtual platform, any print media.) and onsite coordination as needed.
Provide Industry Sales and Operations Senior Manager with weekly sales updates and forecasts.
Responsible for updating and maintain year end reports.
Recommend exhibit, virtual and operations policy updates and process enhancements.
Manage supporter online information, which feeds into various sources i.e., virtual platform, mobile application, website, any print or other supporter sponsorships or functions) ensuring information is accurate and facilitate API integrations when available
Develop, manage, and export forms/data and other various reports for industry team.
Assist in maintaining DDW’s website for all industry related aspects. Work with assigned vendors to approve supporter artwork for various opportunities (i.e., website advertising, blog advertising and advertorials, industry showcase, bag inserts, etc.)
Manage the Industry FreshDesk Inbox daily, respond to exhibitor inquiries assigning them to the appropriate staff person for follow up.
Assist maintenance of Freeman’s Passport and Envision sites.
Assist with payment collection calls maintaining a list of customers with estimated payment receipt dates.
Maintain exhibitor and sponsorship records in floorplan and sponsorship system ensuring information is updated on a regular basis.
Respond to DDW requests for information from supporters, vendors and society partners.
Work with registration team to assist exhibitors with registration of personnel and visa request letters as required for assigned accounts.
Oversee procurement of supplies and office equipment for DDW.
Provide general office support such as copying, scanning, and creating documents.
Other duties, consistent with this position, as assigned.
BA with a focus on business/sales/marketing preferred.
3+ years sales and/or client relationship/management experience preferred.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, high-demand sales environment.
Must be a team player and manage high-pressure situations and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Highly professional, assertive, possesses a mature and positive attitude especially when dealing with colleagues, customers, vendors, and other corporate contacts.
Must have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience. Prefer individual with extensive knowledge of Excel to prepare forecast, margins, and estimated revenue. Ability to use filtering, pivot tables and knowledge of complex equations is necessary.
Experience with the Map Your Show platform for floor plan management.
Ability to travel.
