SVCC is currently seeking applicants for the position of Information Technology Adjunct to teach at itâs Center for Information Technology Excellence (CITE) in South Hill, VA. The successful candidate must be committed to our mission to provide quality education to a diverse constituency. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. Classes taught may be day, night and/or weekends and may be seated, online, or hybrid. Classes may be located on or off campus, possibly in local high schools, or in a correctional center.

About Southside Virginia Community College
Established in 1970, SVCC is one of the 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System. The Christanna Campus near Alberta and the John H. Daniel Campus near Keysville serve ten counties and one city - the largest community college service region in the state. In 1985, SVCC opened the Southside Virginia Education Center. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate degrees. SVCC is dedicated to the belief that all citizens should be given an opportunity to acquire an educational foundation which develops and extends their skills and knowledge.
