The Communications and Performing Arts Department at Kingsborough Community College is seeking candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Music with experience in teaching Introduction to Jazz and Introduction to Western music courses for the 2021-2022 academic year. Additionally, experience teaching other introductory music courses would also be an asset.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully. Preference will be given to candidates with additional education and experience beyond the minimum.
Adjunct Lecturer: $74.48 - $92.72 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $84.48 - $100.27 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $91.08 - $111.61 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $101.03 - $122.96 per hour
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
