WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
West Music believes in the value of great marketing! You will join an experienced team that is not only passionate about Music but also about marketing and how they work together for the benefit of our customers. You will work with the Flute Authority team and various cross functional teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This person will use their expertise to plan and execute strategies for promotional materials, sales tactics, social media engagement, and other business activities. Key components of this position include developing and optimizing marketing content initiatives to ensure customer, community, and associate engagement; driving brand consistency; and nurturing a customer experience that results in a positive impact on sales and engagement metrics.
Develop, improve, and maintain content strategies across all social media channels.
Plan and post content in alignment with strategies across social platforms for the greatest impact for each brand.
Share content to raise brand awareness and support customers.
Monitor social media traffic, behaviors, and metrics to identify best practices.
Respond to social media inquiries and comments.
Create e-newsletters for multiple brands.
Website development and updates.
Maintain website content and updates.
Create new web content that enhances and optimizes site functionality.
Build relationships and communicate frequently with designers, vendor partners, colleagues, centers of influence, and customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing processes and projects with sales goals and initiatives.
Assist in planning and promoting our involvement at flute shows and other events.
Plan and promote virtual events.
Promote artist events on social media, websites, and in e-newsletters.
Travel to flute shows and other events.
Assist customers with flute purchases in person, in email, and over the phone.
Maintain archive of images, photos, and previous projects.
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Music, Business, or equivalent experience.
Proven knowledge and demonstrated use of social media marketing best practices.
