Dayton Live is looking for a talented Development Administrator to join our team to manage the Development Department's Tessitura donor database while also supporting our VP- Development.
If You, or someone you know may be interested, the Development Administrator will be responsible for tasks such as supporting fundraising campaigns, including mailings, reports; updating and maintaining the donor database system; process all financial / cash, in-kind and trade gifts in the donor database system and much more.
As a Development Administrator, you have a thorough knowledge of donor database platforms (preferably Tessitura), computer software, and Microsoft Excel. The role will be much more rewarding if you have great enthusiasm for the performing arts. If you have strong communication skills and are confident with the above skills, we want to meet you!
Day-to-Day Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Support fundraising campaigns, including mailings, reports
Update and maintain the donor database system
Process all financial / cash, in-kind and trade gifts in the donor database system
Produce acknowledgment letters
Generate gift acknowledgment and tax letters in a timely manner
Compile and provide monthly Development Department reports to finance
Compile weekly and monthly gift and statistical reports for the Development Department
Provide benefit fulfillment for individual and sponsorship donors
Assist in staffing sponsor and donor receptions. Manage individual donor events, including the room and catering arrangements and handling RSVPs
Liaison with Dayton Live Ticket Office to assist in providing ticketing services for all donors, sponsors, and VIPs. Serve as main Development Department contact for donor ticketing concerns.
Manage department planning documents
Maintain department calendar and coordinate with other departments
Proposal support gather materials and create templates
Grant support gather materials and maintain timelines
Maintain, update and proof program book listing of donors
Manage department mailings and coordination with volunteers/mail house
Oversee the recognition of the Luminary Society of donors and special donors' groups
