The successful candidate will direct a lower-division undergraduate section of mariachi ensemble. Mode of delivery is face-to-face and may include day or night classes.Required Education and Experience:Masterâ™s Degree in Music, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.Five or more years teaching and conducting a mariachi ensemble at high school or college level preferred.A minimum of 18 graduate hours in music or related field.Preferred Education and Experience:Familiarity with music notation software and arrangement techniques preferred.Familiarity with the needs of a non-traditional, first-generation, culturally diverse student body.
