Gannon University, a Catholic University located in Erie, Pennsylvania, invites applications for the position of Cyber Learning Center and Hatchery Managerin the Institute of Health and Cyber Knowledge (IHACK). The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Academic floors in IHACK - including but not limited to support and promote the Cyber programs, its leadership, faculty, staff, and students, including accreditation activities and center activities; coordinating usage of Hatchery design studios for student groups and industry partners; hiring of student employees for internal and external employment; and support for grant writing efforts.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management, marketing, or IT; Master's level degree is preferred. Must be proficient and at ease with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A minimum of two years' experience in a professional business setting is required. Experience in Internet research techniques, website maintenance, social media site set-up and postings required (or skills must be acquired). Proven ability to successfully operate in a project management role as well as relationship management are pluses. Must work well in a fast-paced environment, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and professional demeanor and presence. Past exposure to higher education environments is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license.
