Detailed Job Description Reporting to the Tech Crew manager, this position serves as a professional partner for the numerous functions/services that encompass Tech Crew. The Assistant Manager is the lead professional in supporting live events; which includes pre/post production meetings discussing needs, management and distribution of staff and ongoing technical support required for events and facilities. The position provides engineering and support (both as Technical Director and/or as a member of the engineering team), as well as providing ongoing support for the systems related to our production/events infrastructure. The Assistant Manager will provide strategic leadership in the recruitment, hiring and training of over 70 student employees. The successful candidate requires experience in audio, lighting, and IT operations to support the event production systems that rely on a networked equipment infrastructure.
