Classes may include: Introduction to Studio Art, Digital Photography, STEAM, AP Art & Design Portfolio, 7th and 8th grade Art, and classes recommended and approved by the selected candidate.

General Expectations for the position include: - Exhibiting Studio Art philosophy and approach.
- Creating local SE Wisconsin community art connections and integration.
- Rotating frequently student art in Theater and Upper Schools.
- Continuing Gallery Night, concert displays, and student art contests.
- Demonstrating expertise in the assigned content areas.
- Exhibiting enthusiasm for the topics taught and developing lessons, classroom experiences, and assessments that encourage student inquiry and discussion.
- Adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Understanding developmental, social, and academic needs of the adolescent student.
- Serving as a mentor to students in the areas of organizational habits, social leadership, and academic excellence.
- Collaborating as a team player with teaching colleagues and administrators.
- Participating in the school community.
- Partnering with parents and guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators; communicating effectively and frequently with them.
- Marketing the school by a willingness to showcase teaching and communicating with prospective families.
