Appropriate Doctorate (or equivalent extensive professional experience). ABD will be considered.
Public school teaching experience (3 years minimum). Collegiate teaching experience preferred.
Primary expertise in methods and materials for the general music classroom.
Preferred secondary emphasis on creativity/improvisation or arranging/composition of public school music materials.
Ability to interface with New Hampshire Department of Education and UNH Department of Education.

The Department of Music at the University of New Hampshire is seeking applicants for a benefits-eligible, full-time tenure track Assistant Professor of Music and Coordinator of Music Education (General Music Specialist).
