Assistant Professor of Music

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate core music theory and music history courses. Other responsibilities may include an applied area of specialty. Student recruiting and participation in faculty governance is expected. The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment or be ABD with graduation date no later than December 31, 2021; demonstrate excellence in teaching; and be an innovative and productive researcher.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Ph.D. in Musicology or Music Theory or D.M.A. ABDs with strong teaching credentials may also be considered.
