![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF06056 The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music's Global Jazz Studies IDP invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Instruction in Advanced Jazz Performance: Trumpet for Spring quarter of the 2020-21 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with teaching load. Applicants should have advanced expertise in group and solo performance of a diverse mixture of Jazz trumpet at the university level. Responsibilities will include individual student instruction. University teaching experience preferred. A bachelor's degree preferred. Applicants should submit the following items: a cover letter stating interest in the position, a comprehensive curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a statement of contribution to diversity. In addition, please provide names and contact information for at least three professional references. The application deadline is March 1, 2021.
