![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF05717 The UCLA Department of Musicology's Music Industry Minor program invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for Fall and Spring quarters of the 2020-21 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with number of classes taught. Applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a music industry educator with expertise and experience in the development of music industry curriculum including analyzing and understanding the music industry. Responsibilities will include individual student teaching supervision and assigned undergraduate and graduate music industry courses. Applicants with a Doctorate in Musicology or related fields is preferred. Applicants should submit the following items: a cover letter stating interest in the position, a comprehensive curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a statement of contribution to diversity. In addition, please provide names and contact information for at least three professional references. Applicants may consider including online video links representing their teaching although doing so is not required. The application deadline is March 1, 2021, with an anticipated appointment date of October 1, 2020 for Fall quarter and April 1, 2021 for Spring quarter.
