Essential Duties: 
  • To obtain a version of the script, that is both relatable and educational for our students and audiences.
  • To organize an audition package in which they would like to see the students perform at auditions (can be Cold Readings or memorized monologues).
  • To attend auditions (TBD January 2021), and coordinate casting desires with SFCC Theatre Program Director.
  • To create, and successfully implement a rehearsal for the entire production. The production is set to run February 25-28th, 2021.
  • To collaborate all technical needs (costumes, lights, sounds, set, etc) for the production with the SFCC Theatre Technical Director.
  •  From those who audition and are not cast, you will create a Crew list for your show in; this includes selecting a student Stage Manager/ Assistant Director. 
  • Coordinate all Marketing desires for the production through the SFCC Program Coordinator.
  • Attend all performances for the production (February 25/28, 2021)
  • To provide constructive critic throughout the rehearsal and performance process in order to improve the students skills and overall performances.

Education: Master's Degree in Theatre or higher
