St. Anne's School of Annapolis, an AIMS accredited, co-educational school, is seeking a Lower and Middle School MusicTeacherfor 2020-2021 academic year. This position includes teaching lower and middle school music, including chorus and band.
The candidate will be responsible for teaching music to Kindergarten through 8th grade, teaching chorus to 5th-8th grade, plan and oversee chapel music, and prepare students for Christmas and spring musical programs. In addition, the candidate will lead the production of the yearly middle school musical.
The candidate must be willing to embrace the St. Anne’s School mission and educational philosophy, and work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to ensure each child’s success.
Candidates should have experience with project-based learning as a means to engage students meaningfully in real-world and twenty-first-century experiences. This is a full-time position.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in music, and have experience as an elementary or middle school musicteacher.
The candidate must be able to play piano and sing and should be familiar with instrumentation and creating engaging lesson plans.
