Position Summary: The Lionel Hampton School of Music invites applications for a Temporary Lecturer in Oboe. Candidate will be responsible for teaching Studio Instruction of Oboe, Double reed techniques, Chamber Ensemble, Aural Skills III and IV, and Orchestral Literature.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate/terminal degree in teaching discipline or closely related discipline. Record of success as a studio teacher, ensemble director, or classroom teacher. Evidence of performance ability at a professional level.
Preferred Qualifications: Record of success as a teacher at the collegiate level. Ability to teach other courses depending on candidates experience and need of the department. Ability to interact effectively with colleagues.
