Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full Time Upper Elementary Teacher to begin in Fall 2020.
The Upper Elementary Teacher will partner with parents and teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum. The Upper Elementary Teacher will teach a grade level elementary class covering Latin, Religion, and all curriculum subject areas except Physical Education, Art, and Music.
hold a bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university
be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
have a strong understanding of Catholic traditions and beliefs
hold a Virginia Teacher Certification or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
have a passion and commitment to classical education
have coursework in a broad array of areas
