Teach MUS 101 Music Appreciation, one section per semester
Gradebook/feedback up-to-date in Canvas LMS within 1 week
Timely response to student emails within 48 hours
Meet first-week attendance and final grade entry deadlines
ILO/data reporting to Lead Instructor/Division as requested
Maintain communication with Lead Instructor and Site Director

Master's degree in Music or Music Education; however, Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Music may be considered. Prior teaching experience at the college level and experience with computer mediated instruction preferred. The successful candidate will: Possess a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Demonstrate evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate student centeredness. Be able to interact with a broad range of people with diverse backgrounds both on and off campus in a positive manner. Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college.
