Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
This faculty role will be required to design, teach and evaluate students in classes across the division including foundational classes or upper level specialty electives. Faculty are expected to collaborate with theater division faculty in the program review process regarding curriculum changes. This position is responsible for designing and teaching electives that broaden current theater offerings as well as participation in the life of the Theater Division.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in musical theater, theater, directing, acting or equivalent (Masters preferred)
Minimum 5 years professional performance or directing in the theater field (New York and Broadway experience a plus)
At least 2 years teaching experience in higher education setting
Comprehensive knowledge of theater repertoire and performance history, and specific knowledge of various training styles preferred.
Experience designing and developing curriculum preferred
