The Membership Associate is a full-time position within Dance/USA’s highly active Membership Department. The Membership Associate will be an integral part of the Department’s operations and success. The primary responsibility of the Membership Associate will be:
Tracking and engaging renewed, new, and prospective members.
Supporting the Department’s goals and organization-wide activities at our Annual Conference; in-person member meetings; and annual Dance Forums.
Managing and maximizing our customer relation management system (Salesforce).
Interfacing with content on the Dance/USA website.
Managing all Department e-communications.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Knowledge of how to update website content and comfort using a WYSIWYG.
Experience with an e-communications platform such as MailChimp.
Strong sensibility of customer service.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to creatively problem solve in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Association experience strongly preferred.
Possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively with an off-site supervisor.
Telecommuting is allowed.
